CHESTNUT HILL HIGH SERVICE PUMPING STATION
Brookline, Massachusetts

Photographed, February 29, 2008

(1) WIDE VIEW OF HIGH SERVICE PUMPING STATION INTERIOR.

Photo Notes: This is a photo-mosaic constructed out of a total of six wide angle digital photos utilizing a compositional method developed when doing the Piranesi Project in Rome in 2002-03.  The width of the view is approximately 160 degrees, and it has multiple vanishing points, but is designed to avoid the distortions of an ordinary panorama

SOURCE PHOTOS:  The following are the individual photos that were used to build the image above.  Photos were taken with a Nikon 5400 with a 19 mm lens attachment (35mm equivalent) on a sand-bag stabilizer in lieu of a tripod.

I wish to thank Michael Sand, Cambridge, Mass. for helping to facilitate access to this facility for the photography
